Quality information in VO Catalogs

AKARI/IRC mid-IR all-sky Survey (ISAS/JAXA, 2010)

We use the quality information in the q_S09, q_S18 flags (one for each band) provided by the AKARI/IRC catalogue in Vizier.

where the possible values are described as:

We consider flag=3 as good quality. Bad otherwise. That is:

  • q_S09!=3 → AKARI/IRC.S9W: bad
  • q_S18!=3 → AKARI/IRC.L18W: bad
