Quality information in VO Catalogs

AKARI/FIS All-Sky Survey Point Source Catalogues (ISAS/JAXA, 2010)

We use the quality information in the q_S65, q_S90, q_S140, q_S160 flags (one for each band) provided by the AKARI/FIS catalogue in Vizier.

where the possible values are described as:

We consider flag=3 as good quality. Bad otherwise. That is:

  • q_S65!=3 → AKARI/FIS.N60: bad
  • q_S90!=3 → AKARI/FIS.WIDE-S: bad
  • q_S140!=3 → AKARI/FIS.WIDE-L: bad
  • q_S160!=3 → AKARI/FIS.N160: bad
