SimDAL Repository: workflow

We want to find VO services that provide simulations interesting for us.

In particular we want to find isochrones and evolutionary tracks for the AMES_Dusty stellar model from the Lyon group.

  1. We make a simple {search} query looking for "*ames*" to see what we find.
    1. We query: http://[...]/repository/search/?q=*ames*
    2. We find two "projects":
      • project=ames_dusty for the AMES-Dusty model.
      • project=ames_cond for the AMES-Cond
    3. We choose the "ames_dusty" project.
  2. We want to know the URL for the SimDAL Search service for this project. For that, we access the {projects} resource.
    1. We query: http://[...]/repository/projects/?project=ames_dusty
    2. We find the URL for the SimDAL Search service:
      • http://[...]/ames_dusty/search/
  3. We have all the information that we need to search for AMES-Dusty isochrones.
    • URL for SimDAL Search: http://[...]/ames_dusty/search/
