Wakeford et al. 2018 | spec | Hubble Space Telescope satellite | Wide Field Camera 3 | 13 | WAKEFORD ET AL 2018 . We present a case study on TRAPPIST-1g, the largest planet in the system, using a new observation together with previous data, to disentangle the atmospheric transmission of the planet from that of the star. We observed one transit of TRAPPIST-1g with theHubble Space Telescope (HST) Wide Field Camera 3(WFC3) G141 grism on 10 December 2017 as part ofGO-15304 (PI de Wit). We obtained 60 exposures in spatial scan mode over the course of four HST orbits each with an exposure time of 112 seconds. |
